Faculties

Thurso High School is committed to providing a broad and inclusive education for all our young people. Our aim is to provide quality learning and teaching experiences for all through an engaging, challenging and creative curriculum ensuring every pupil is well prepared to move on to a positive and sustained destination. 

We have seven Faculties, delivering an excellent range of subjects through the BGE and the Senior Phase, each with carefully planned progression pathways.

As well as this, the options available are supported by UHI North Highland College with the School Link programme which offers a range of courses from Level 2 to Level 7, including in person vocational courses as well as online courses. In addition, pupils benefit from access to the Highland Tutoring online service and the Digital School, providing further opportunities for Senior Phase learners.
