The English, Modern Languages and Drama Faculty offers a range of subjects.

We offer progression in English from BGE through to Advanced Higher. Each year, you will have opportunities to study a range of different texts, as well as chances to write both creatively and discursively.

We also offer National 5 Media, within which you will learn to analyse different types of media, as well as producing your own piece of media as part of the assignment.

Additionally, we offer progression from BGE to Senior Phase in French, Gaelic, and Gàidhlig. Within each of these subjects, you will get experience speaking, writing, listening, and reading in each language.

We currently also offer BGE Drama, where you will gain both experience of analysing performances as well as practical activities within which you will practice various aspects of producing a performance.
