Pupils from the Travel and Tourism class enjoyed a visit to Wick/JOG Airport to find out about jobs in the travel industry for their employability unit. The pupils were welcomed and staff spoke enthusiastically about their job roles and responsibilities. The visit was completed by seeing an RAF plane practice land at the local Airport. The previous week the pupils went to Rock Rose Gin to see how they attract tourists and also to establish the job requirements for a tour guide. The school is grateful for the time given from both the Airport and Rock Rose to our pupils in order to extend their knowledge of jobs in the travel sector.
