THS pupils attended the North of Scotland Regional Qualifying Championships in Inverness. All pupils played extremely well showing excellent etiquette, effort and respect in representing the school and themselves with pride.

Results as follows:

U14s

Will Oag Alan Robertshaw Runner Up U14s boys’ doubles.

Alan Robertshaw U14s boys’ consolation winner.

Connor Wares U14s boys’ doubles consolation winner.

U16s

Laura Bain U16s Girls’ doubles consolation winner.

Lewis Gallagher Mark McCoustra U16s boys’ runner up.

As a result, Thurso High has 4 players (Mark, Lewis, Will and Alan) qualifying for the National Championships in Perth in March in their respective events.

The day was rounded off with a well deserved KFC. Special thanks to our last minute replacement driver Mr Ford!
