Skibo Castle Visit

In February, S3 pupils from Wick High School and Thurso High School visited Skibo Castle, home of The Carnegie Club, for an immersive tour designed to showcase the wide range of careers available within a large, high-end hospitality and leisure operation.

Students were taken on an in-depth behind-the-scenes experience covering the castle's extensive 22 departments, including:

Maintenance & Engineering

Childcare

Pupils got stuck into a variety of hands-on tasks, allowing them to better understand the diverse skill sets required within the sector.
