Fundraising day in aid of the Samaritans

Written by Mrs Geddes

The S6 Fundraising Committee held a fundraising day yesterday in aid of the local branch of the Samaritans. Pupils could dress down for the day and pay a pound at registration. Other activities held included a bake sale, which is always popular, as well as Guess the Teddy’s birthday and Guess the number of Sweeties in the Jar. There was a lovely buzz about the school as the events took place. A magnificent sum of £700.02 was raised. Well done to all involved.
