Last term our S1 and S2 Gàidhlig pupils participated in FilmG – a Gaelic film making competition – this year’s topic was our point of view. The girls decided to make a documentary about Gàidhlig medium education and in particular GME in Thurso High School. Their film has now made the short list for two categories – best documentary and most inspirational film. They have all worked really hard and it’s fantastic that they have made it this far in the competition. Next up for them is the awards ceremony in Glasgow next month which we hope to attend. The public vote is still open so if you haven’t please considering giving them your vote, voting closes 2nd February.
