A virtual work experience opportunity through Dounreay has recently become available which would be hugely beneficial to any pupils aged 15 or over who may wish to pursue apprenticeship or employment opportunities with the company in the future.
The experience will take place over the course of four weeks and will allow those taking part the chance to speak with professionals across a broad range of disciplines and learn about what it is like to work at Dounreay. Scheduled virtually through Google Classrooms and Google Meet for Friday afternoons between 1300-1500, sessions will take place on the 30th of April and the 7th, 14th & 21st of May. Please be aware that the application deadline for this experience is Friday 9th April.
For more information about the placement, please see the following link:
Speakers for Schools host the virtual placement and provide a platform for pupils to apply through. In order to apply, please register using the link below:
Further advice on registering for this virtual work placement can be found in the slides on the Parent Information page of this website.
We again emphasise how beneficial this would be to anyone to be able to reference this experience on their CV and especially if applying for any opportunities at Dounreay itself.
If you have any questions about the placement or the application process, please contact Mrs Miller through the school number 01847 893822 or generic school email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
